I live in las palmas and have little use for a mode of transport in my day to day life- but when my friends visited one weekend last month, we decided to rent some bikes to explore the island a little more. The first thing that impressed me was that Ondřej has an expansive knowledge of the island (him being a foreigner, I was honestly surprised); he gave us multiple ideas of routes we could take with important points of interest ranging from great coffee, beautiful views, to delicious food. I realized that the reason his recommendations were so useful and unique was because these aren’t just things he has found from asking locals, but rather, these are the things he likes to do himself. We ended up riding around the north west part of the island and had an amazing time. I will definitely rent from Ondřej in the future!First class experience with these guys, they have a great selection of bikes, I want a spin on all of them! I had the F900GS for a few days, lovely bike, the only problem was my own fault, and that was not being up to speed with google maps for multiple stops and not downloading routes for when you go out of coverage, got lost a few times, but it was still fun. Would definitely rent here again if I come back to Gran Canaria.Ich habe im Februar 2026 für ein paar Tage eine Tenere 700 bei Canary Ride gebucht. absolut professioneller Laden, die ganze Abwicklung und Zahlung lief super und total angenehm und freundlich. Mein Kumpel hat sein Motorrad noch mal gewechselt, da er auch die BMW R12 ausprobieren wollte. Weil der Wechsel 5 Minuten länger gedauert hat – Laden war voll – konnte er das Motorrad am Abgabetag länger behalten - sehr kundenfreundlich. Die Motorräder sind in einem technisch absoluten top Zustand. Ich hab den Laden schon einem anderen Freund weiter empfohlen und kann das 100 %ig tun. We rented 2 bikes for a day, a Desert X and a Tracer 7, and the process was very easy. We reserved the bikes in person but you can do it on their website as well. The staff was really nice and as advertised they are multilingual so it was no problem with our broken spanish. We had to return the bikes outside of opening hours which was no problem at all. Zeker een aanrader om hier je motor te huren.From the initial booking online to meeting Alex and co. to collecting our bikes, Canary Rides made us feel very welcome and set us up for our first experience of riding in Tenerife. We hired two bikes, one each, which were in excellent condition and well prepared for us. The roads are in very good condition. The tarmac/asphalt was perfect so you are able to look around at the amazing scenery not worrying about potholes (as we have here in the UK). We had no particular routes planned however, Canary Rides did provide some suggestions. I don't think you can go wrong whichever direction you choose to take!Fantastic riding, great communication and very friendly. Rented a tiger 900 and bike had been damaged previously but staff took pictures and videos to document the damage before handing it over. Te la recogen en la misma gasolinera del aeropuerto, que está a unos minutos andando, pero como llovía bastante fueron muy amables y me acercaron hasta la misma puerta del aeropuerto. Un lujo!!! Was den Service betrifft, so war das Personal von Canary Ride äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und professionell. Alle Formalitäten wurden schnell erledigt, und sie nahmen sich Zeit, mir alle wichtigen Informationen zu geben, um meine Reise sicher und angenehm zu gestalten. Due to an unfortunate situation where I was forced into the gutter of the inside of a hairpin turn by an oncoming car and the bike tipped over, I had some superficial damage. Ich habe mir hier zweimal ein Motorrad geliehen. Einmal war alles perfekt. Beim zweiten Mal musste ich die Abnutzung am Lack durch meinen Tankrucksack ersetzen. Aus meiner Sicht habe ich aber keinen Schaden verursacht. Der Lack war einfach nicht geeignet. Und man wollte das Motorrad quasi wie neu verkaufen. De motor was perfect en alles werd heel duidelijk besproken en nagelopen samen met mij. Ze staan open om tour tips te geven en mee te kijken met het uitkiezen van motor kleding. Daarnaast zijn ze goed bereikbaar en hebben ze mij goed geholpen !We hired two Triumph 400 bikes for 2 days. Friendly and helpful staff at Canary Ride; keen for us to enjoy ourselves on the bikes. Bikes were well presented and clean, no problems with them at all. Bikes were exactly the right size for the island, you want to keep off the motorways as much as possible and spend time on the minor roads which are great. Minor roads are very well kept, hardly any potholes, smooth and fun. Roads all over are twisty, in the mountains they are very up and down, thrill giving roads which suit the size of bikes we had. Overall a great time. Canary Ride are in the capital, which is a fantastic place to stay, great for bars, sun and people watching.Druhým rokem půjčujeme tady motorky na 9 dnů,letos i s kamaradama. Nejlepší dovolená pro nás . Stroje jsou vždy spolehlivé. Letos půjčili i zánovní. S Ondrou primová komunikace ohledně plánování a realizací. My wife and I went to Gran Canaria to relax and see the beautifull landscape.We wanted to rent a bike and Canary Ride was good adviced on the web. Also some local people adviced us to go there.When we came in the store it felt professional.The bikes where in very good shape and wel maintenanced.We rented a Honda Tracer.A 700cc allroad powerhouse. Very nice, easygoing bike.Than the journey began, and it was AMAZING! If you drive motorcycles back home, please rent and drive trough the mountains here!The shop owner was going on a day trip with friends....and we could join!!So ofcourse we did, and because of that we now saw almost every beautifull piece of Gran Canaria. He knew the best roads, highest mountain points and how to get there. The guys were amazing and we had the time of our lives. He even took us to some local hidden restaurants and places you would normaly not come.....Please grand yourself this experience, you will remember it for life.Amazing! Perfect bike, perfect communication, amazing route tips, great taxi service, super handy self drop off possibility. Too bad I can only give 5 stars! I had the Ducati Scrambler which was very pleasant in the mountains: light, easy to handle, strong and fun.Very service-minded staff. When I went to pick up my bike, it was closed due to a Spanish holiday but they came and opened it for me anyway.Great holiday thanks to a great operation. Super friendly team. What can you ask more?Využil som skvelú možnosť zarezervovať si motorku cez internet na presný čas.Mal som požičanú Ducati Desert Sled na 5 dní a zajazdil som cca 1200km po celom ostrove.Motorka pripravená v Top stave za mňa veľmi dobrá voľba ľahko ovládateľná perfektne zladený podvozok a výkon ani raz nezaváhala :)Charakter ciest počtom zákrut kvalitou asfaltu a výberom rôznych typov ciest na jednom mieste nemá konkurenciu.Tie zážitky za čas strávený na moto sa nedajú opísať slovami..Motorkári vedia o čom hovorím :)Motorku som vracal v Nedeľu keď bolo zavreté čo mi umožnilo jazdiť o jeden deň dlhšie.Skvelý profesionálny prístup personálu určite sa ešte vrátim.Velká vďaka Canary Ride.Wir sind vier Freunde die seit 24 Jahren Motorradtouren machen und davon auch schon mehrfach mit Leihmotorrädern auf Inseln (Kreta, Zypern, Sardinien, Gran Canaria). Wir haben niemals zuvor so gut gewartete Mopeds und einen so guten und unkomplizierten Abwicklungsservice erlebt. Das Team von Canary Ride und insbesondere Ondrej haben uns mit Ihren Motorrädern eine Woche lang sehr viel Spaß bereitet.
