Czego się spodziewać

This is one of Gran Canaria’s greatest descents on the GC-130, starting at the highest point of the island, Pico de las Nieves, and dropping all the way down to the historic city of Telde.

The character of the road changes dramatically as you experience an almost 1,800-meter drop in elevation. Starting in cool mountain air near stone “neveras”—where snow was historically stored to sell in Las Palmas—you’ll wind through lush Canary pine forests and past the striking Caldera de los Marteles volcanic crater before descending into warmer, coastal air.

A masterclass in Gran Canaria’s famous “mini-continent” feeling on freshly resurfaced, phenomenal tarmac. Slow down, enjoy the endless string of hairpins and sweeping Atlantic views, and experience the journey on a tourer like the Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports 2025 DCT.
