This is an engaging, technical northern ride across La Gomera along the GM-1, winding from the panoramic Mirador de Hermigua through the picturesque coastal village of Agulo to the lush basin of Vallehermoso
The character of the road is defined by its dramatic rollercoaster of elevation changes, tight hairpins, and vibrant landscapes. Benefiting from the moisture-rich trade winds, this northern stretch showcases agricultural terraces, banana plantations, and sheer volcanic cliffs. The route passes near Agulo—perched on a natural balcony facing Mount Teide—before descending into Vallehermoso under the shadow of the massive Roque Cano
A highly rewarding, rhythm-filled route demanding sharp focus through tight coastal curves. Enjoy breaking out into broad valley views, embrace the fresh trade-wind breeze, and experience the journey on a punchy, agile dual-sport machine like the 2025 BMW F 900 GS
